family proclaimation

 

sometime last week i decided i wanted to display this in my home.  i also have lots of built in shelving in need of cute decorations.  so i took the proclamation and distressed it a bit-and changed the title font, just to make it look a little "older".

after printing i stuck it on a stained plaque-roughed up the edges a bit and i think it looks pretty cool-which is a bonus because it is such a great reminder of the importance of family and the reality of revelation in today's crazy world!

 monday is my anniversary-me and my man have been married 8 fantastic years!  so, last year i found some funny romantic coupons on clearance from valentines day.  anyways i kind of thought they were funny, but my husband loved them-especially the one for the m.o. session-so i decided to reproduce my own for this year-just for fun.  these are valuable coupons too-and i am sharing them with you, complete with a blank page at the end so you can fill in your own!!!    keep watching for more fun anniversary gifts!!

okay so today is my dad's birthday.  look what he is getting-coolest present ever!  okay, maybe i am biased because i made it-and i know all those cutie kiddos-but still.
this is cool because-you might have tons of digital picture stored on your computer-
instead of printing them all out-you can have 30 pictures all together that look super cute.  even more cool because they are designed to print 12x12-which means when you are ready to display a new one, you can store the old one right in a scrap book and make a collection.  
yes-i think i will start doing this every year-or season.  this is the kind of scrap booking i can handle. and of course you might want one too-so check it out in the etsy shop & we'll get started!

patriotic

summer is a great time to feel patriotic-especially with my kids singing "God Bless the USA" all the time.  it is a great reminder that we are lucky to have the freedoms that we do!  tomorrow is flag day!  my kiddos and I are planning on this craft and maybe this yummy looking treat.  so here is a little patriotic treat for you.  go ahead and print it-if you like!  there are more to come-i promise!!  i put the star right around where i thought northern utah might be-if you need me to move it-just email me!  happy flag day. 

everyone needs a few rules

during family night this week we made rules-everyone contributed.  hopefully this will help us gain some resemblance of organization in our home.  and maybe curb some of the summer wildness.

so far i have designed these rules in two sizes-11x17 and 18x36.  i want to print mine 18x36 and maybe mount them on a board.

rainbows

Yesterday I got to do a super fun custom design.  I love it when customers ask for something like this-"i want something that says, I like to look for rainbows, to match my girl's room."  Then i get really excited, don't you just love that primary song?  She sent a picture of her daughter's pillows so we could match the colors and this is what i came up with.

 she actually ordered three prints that all match-her girl's room will be so adorable!

the fun thing about the rainbow print is that the stripes can be any color!  check out this one

we'll call it rainbow-brite.  so fun-i am thinking there will be a few more rainbow designs coming.  so perfect for a baptism gift!

happy day-teacher gift
